    Deep-Cavity Nested Products – Stable & High-Efficiency Production

    Typical deep-cavity nested parts include municipal road barriers, traffic cones, guardrail bases and more. Exposed to long-term sunlight, rain and vehicle impacts, these products impose extremely high requirements on machine rigidity and operational stability.

     

    TUP’s UN650 solution for nested road barriers produces 1,560g single-shot parts with PP as raw material. Optimized via finite element analysis, its high-rigidity platens come standard with T-slots to distribute clamping force evenly and avoid eccentric loading during long-term operation. The dual-cylinder full moving structure and full closed-loop control deliver outstanding injection repeat precision for superior yield rates. Extended mold thickness capacity and mold opening stroke fully satisfy process demands for deep-cavity molded articles.

    Glass Fiber Reinforced Materials – No Floating Fibers, Uncompromised Mechanical Strength

    Glass-fiber reinforced molded products cover municipal concrete troughs, manhole covers, cable brackets and similar items. Subject to abrasion from sand and gravel, these components demand ultra-high strength and anti-aging performance, posing dual challenges to plasticizing systems and platen rigidity.


    The UN1600 large hydraulic injection molding machine from TUP manufactures 3,300g single-shot parts from PP+30GF (30% glass fiber reinforced polypropylene). Equipped with a dedicated high-efficiency plasticizing screw, it boosts plasticizing efficiency and guarantees consistent part strength. Extended heavy-duty slide bases and ultra-rigid machine frames prevent platen tilting under heavy mold weight, eliminating uneven glass fiber distribution caused by eccentric loading and ensuring uniform mechanical performance across finished products.

    Large Pipe Fittings & Valve Bodies – One-Shot Molding with Zero Leakage

    Large pipe fittings and valve bodies such as sewer pipe tees and inspection chambers feature heavy shot weights, require prolonged packing pressure and must be free of weld lines.


    TUP’s UN650 two-stage pipe-dedicated injection molding machine delivers single shots up to 22.3kg using HDPE raw material. Fitted with specialized plasticizing assemblies, its screw adopts a custom thread design without non-return rings or thrust rings, significantly lifting plasticizing efficiency and stability for flawless finished parts. An enlarged melt motor delivers coordinated higher rotational speed and torque to sustain consistent continuous production. Widened safety doors simplify mold installation and part removal, making the unit ideal for mass production of engineering pipe fittings.

    Microcellular Foam Wall Panels – Lightweight Chemical Foam Molding

    For microcellular foam wall panel projects, construction panels demand large surface areas, low density and excellent thermal insulation. Conventional injection molding often causes sink marks and warpage, resulting in low yield and inconsistent quality.

     

    TUP’s HS1400 lightweight solution produces 2,300g parts with an 80-second cycle time. The microcellular foam process realizes full lightweight upgrading, cutting overall production costs by 8%–20% while retaining structural strength. It effectively optimizes warpage defects, reduces sink marks and deformation, enhances dimensional stability of finished articles and greatly raises production yields. Boasting a large mold opening stroke within a compact footprint, it accommodates demolding of extra-long wall panels. The EIPP Expanded Injection Polypropylene micro-opening chemical foam molding technology empowers production of ultra-long wall panels with excellent venting and precise, stable micro-opening positioning to secure premium molding quality.
